Our Client, a London Marker Insurance Broker, is looking for someone who has the ability to work under pressure, taking in and fully understanding information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail. You will need to be driven proactive and self-motivated with the ability to use one’s own initiative with a focused and logical approach to tasks.

The role requires strong, verbal and written communication skills, being approachable, have excellent organisational skills and a willingness to find solutions. Attend internal and external meetings understanding that everyone has a duty to drive business performance. The role will assist daily with day to day administration, technically supporting and managing a strong Business Operations Team, providing oversight daily to the performance a staff and all business activities undertaken for all classes of business Marine (Cargo, Liability, Hull), P&I, Property & Casualty.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Check MRC Slips, MRC Endorsements, Calculation of premiums and produce Policies if needed.

  • Produce Client Debit / Credit Note Documentation and deal directly with respective Clients on a daily basis.

  • Risk Process Premium within MRSL Broking System.

  • Produce LPANS for submission to Xchanging and confirm figures within Risk Processing are correct for Marine / Non Marine.

  • Load documents onto the A&S Direct Load Repository and submit accordingly.

  • Resolve queries raised by Xchanging (Lloyd’s, ILU and Lirma) and Underwriters in respect of Premium.

  • Produce Warranty Reports and assist with the Deferred Settlement Scheme.

  • Attend Market Technical Forums.

  • Actively engage and provide support with the steering of MRSL I.T. Systems.
